2. Two leases for National Park Service offices in Fairbanks had been slated to be revoked due to federal funding cuts, but now the agency that oversees U.S. properties is reversing course.

3. Congress is considering huge cuts to Medicaid, and Alaska health-care experts say that would have a seriously adverse impact on the state's economy.

4. Alaska House lawmakers made a few changes to a high-priority education bill Monday and Tuesday ahead of a final House vote that could happen today.

5. Alaska State Troopers are investigating the shootings of several domesticated bison owned by a Delta Junction-area farmer.
